Audio Atrocities™ : Tenchu · Activision · Playstation · 1998
Tenchu is a really cool game with some really awful acting. It has the most copious bad takes, but the funny thing is, the game doesn't suffer too much for it, and they're not ear-bleeding, "run for the exits bad" like Robot Alchemic Drive.

Within the bad acting, there are definitely degrees of suckatude. The game lets you pick who you want to be - a male or female ninja. The male is competent, but voice-miscast. The female is a terrible flat-delivery, menopausal, trainwreck of a performance. It's ALL wrong for the character's look, and with terrible dialogue and delivery, too. I'd say it's actually worse than the bosses overall, and that's saying something!

Exhibit A: I know what you want. You want the stone. It's safe inside my belly...
Another weird boss with a ridiculous fey-retarded delivery topped off by an unexpected and completely out of place titter. Wow.

Exhibit B: My...MY...my...precious...
This clip makes you appreciate Andy Serkis' performance as Gollum in Lord of the Rings SO much more.

Exhibit C: My father will be satisfied!
You have a grown voice actor doing a kid voice that sounds kind of like Spridle from Speed Racer talking about fatherly satisfaction. How and why should this kid know that? I'm sensing Geisha indescretion.
