Audio Atrocities™ : 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker · SEGA · Playstation 2 · 2001
SEGA's arcade division has really left no stone unturned when looking for life experiences to emulate in arcade games. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for their dedication to finding competent voice talent to bring those games to life. 18 Wheeler American Pro Trucker is another in the long line of SEGA Arcade games with Atrocious voice acting, and now you can get the same half-baked experience in the privacy of your home on the PlayStation 2! Or, save yourself the irritation, and just laugh at the clips below...

Exhibit A: It's just not my day ta-day...Hoo...
Apparently this actor is a poor-man's redneck Pacino, taking the "Hoo" but leaving the important "Ha" somewhere in the back of his troubled and talent-free performance notes. Pacino did it first and best. This guy's a hick poser.

Exhibit B: Wow! Awesome record! You must be a pro!
Forced "dude speak" is never fun to encounter, and you can count 420 reasons why this guy's not hitting the right notes here. The game's loaded with broad stereotypical characters, and they're all done badly.

Exhibit C: Whutz da haouldup heah?!
Again, more broad stereotypes done badly. The actor laying down the jive-talking trucka brotha in this clip seems to have been inspired by one too many 70's Blacksploitation flix.
